Neasden Gaels GFC Club Trip 2010 - New York
Go to New York and play Alan Raftery’s present team Cork NYC GFC on St Patrick's weekend on Saturday March 20th at 5pm in Gaelic Park.
TRIP DATES: Tuesday 16th March to Sunday 21st March 2010
The trip will take the following format:
- Tuesday 16th - Fly out of Heathrow
- Wednesday 17th - St Patrick's day
- Thursday 18th – Free day
- Friday 19th – Atlantic City
- Saturday 20th - Play Cork NYC GFC in Gaelic Park @ 5pm
- Sunday 21st - Return back to Heathrow (Arrive Monday AM)
TOTAL TRIP COST: £500 (£300 flights, Approx £200 for five night’s accommodation)
The proposed trip is to be completely funded by those travelling, not by the club. We will try to find sponsors for Neasden Gaels branded Fleeces/Pullovers or the like.
All monies paid will be non-refundable.
The FIRST PAYMENT OF £300 MUST BE MADE BY 7TH DECEMBER.
Flights and accommodation will be confirmed and booked shortly after.
THE SECOND PAYMENT OF £200+ WILL BE DUE BY THE 25TH OF JANUARY
DEPOSIT
Will be required by Cheque or Bank Transfer (cash will do but least preferable). Will send details out on the 23rd of Nov, due by 7th Dec. No exceptions. |

OTHER USEFUL STUFF
ID IN BARS - ID is very strict in New York, pretty much all bars and nightclubs in New York will demand to see your Passport as ID, driving licences, photocopies etc won't be taken.
TRAVEL INSURANCE - Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance for this trip, this is a private trip and Neasden Gaels are not responsible for you, medical care is massively expensive in the USA and hospitals will not deal with you unless you have insurance.

TIPPING -- In restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, the usual is to tip service staff 15% to 20% of the check, bartenders 10% to 15% and cab drivers 15% of the fare.
